The Beaver Island Lodge was built in 1950 as a one story Hunting and Fishing Lodge on beautiful Lake Michigan. In the early 1980s, the Lodge was expanded with two extra floors of condominiums, as tourism was developing in Beaver Island. Current owners Eric and Dana Hodgson have been in the hospitality business on Beaver Island since 1996. Dana is actually several generations native. They became initially involved with the Beaver Island Lodge in 2010 and proprietors in 2013. Since then they have embarked on the road to transform the authenticity and history of this 1950s lodge into the best dining and lodging experience available on Beaver Island. Self-proclaimed “foodies” they represent decades of experience in the food & hospitality industry, bringing their passion to the Island they love. In recent years, all the rooms and suites have been upgraded to reflect today’s augmented hospitality standards.
Current Lodge Managers TJ and Han, bring a wealth of hospitality experience and innovation to the table, developed over years of operating small hotels and bed and breakfast homes in the US, the Caribbean and Western Europe.

The Beaver Island Lodge offers 14 guest rooms and suites over three floors, as well as an adjacent family cabin. Each room is individually decorated and offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Room reservations for groups may be blocked out upon request.
